Our trip to Paris is just about coming to an end. We’re here in Roissy, next to the Charles De Gaulle Airport, spending the night at the Marriott, before our 9:55am flight to SFO via JFK. It has been a bit of a whirlwind, with a couple of nights in Paris, a weekend near Rotterdam, then back to Paris for five nights before flying home. We will be posting photos of our trip, reviews of the restaurants and bars we frequented, links to the Airbnb’s we stayed at, and tips for travel to Paris in January. In the meantime, I thought I would use this post to link to the daily videos I produced. These were quick edits using the GoPro “Quik” app on my iPhone. This is a great tool to grab the images you take during the day on your phone, and put together a quick compilation without taking a lot of time. One cool feature is that it uses the iPhone “Live photos” as short video clips which makes the end result pretty interesting. While the default edit is usually pretty good, there are plenty of options to customize. Most of the music tracks are available in the app, but I did use a couple of tracks from Austin Sharp (yep, that’s my boy). Enjoy Days 1-9.
